How does a 14 year old go about buying a stock share?
I heard about the Uniformed Gifts to Minors Act on tv. How do I get started?

- You're not allowed! Stocks are a form of 'gambling' so are only available to people of 18 or over.
- I think your parent can help you. or some broker of stock share
- if account is opened in the name of guardian. But 14 years is less age for doing trading and investment www.equityahead.com
- Hi- First of all stock investing is not a "form of gambling." It's a viable method of long-term investing and at 14 it's terrific that you are interested in stocks. It's a great time to begin learning about what makes a good stock investment and how to manage any risk associated with it. The UGMA allows minors under the age of 18 to own stocks, but control of the buying and selling is maintained by a parent or guardian. So, you'd still have to ask your parents to help you. Best-
- Practice trading by simulation. I used updown.com for a few weeks before I started.
