What do the ticker marks ( +, -, =) mean on streaming stock quotes ticker?

Its looking at a live stock ticker, or streaming quotes and it says last tick

2. one point on the tick chart per trade is called ticker mark. when a tick chart is referred ,we could see there are a number of dots generating a smooth curve or vertical lines.each dot represent shows the variation in the price to an extent of 0.025%
