Where do i find the closing index prices of major stock markets .. Say for the past 10 - 15 years?

Could someone be kind enough to tell me as to where i can find the closing index prices of major stock indexes worldwide. I am doing a research program. Thanks

1. Ok, my post is not spam like the other 2 I have an etrade account. It lets me search back about ten years to the closing price on any stock I want. I believe you can also do this through Google Finance. Enter the ticker symbol and click '10 year' on the history map. Should work for you. Google's is actually better than Etrades go figure.
