  1. You should have said what site it was. Generally there is a stock lookup, or if you the symbol you can look up the price that way. Add some info and you may get some more specific help.
  2. There are thousands of places in the world to find stock quotes. Start with http://www.yahoo.com/finance. Type in the name of a company or its ticker symbol in the quote lookup bar in the top left of the screen and hit "get quotes" the company ticker should pop up with the current stock quote (the price per share that the stock last sold for), a graph of the stock's performance (which you can set to days, months, or years of time), as well as a bunch of critical information about the company including its bio, financial statements, and ratios. Keep in mind that yahoo finance does not quote stocks in real time (they are 15 minutes delayed). For this you will need to pay $10/mo to see the actual live quotes, or try google finance (though I think yahoo is better). You can also see stock quotes on the news, a company's website, or a thousand other sites on the web. Even your online broker should have the stock quote posted before you make your trade.
