Stock Price Charts

Stock call options question: Is there a way to view pricing history charts for specific strike prices?

I would like to view a comparison stock history chart along with the call options history pricing.

  1. The strike price history and the stock price don't match only on expiration because of its ever changing delta(option greek). your best bet is to look at the stock itself and make sure it is going in the direction you want it to. As for the price of the option the market will tell you what it is currently worth. to get up to date quotes and historical prices You can use finance.yahoo.com go to investing then options. Hope this helps.
  2. Yes, you can create such a chart at http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/ Example: (1) Go to the link. (2) Enter the stock symbol and click on the "advanced chart" button. (3) Choose the time frame you want, such as "1 month." (4) Click on the "compare to" button. (5) Enter the option symbol(s) in the "symbol(s)" box. (See note.) (6) Click on the "draw chart" button. Note: At this site option symbols must be entered with an "=" before the last two characters of the option symbol. For example, a January $5 put on HOV would be entered as HOV=MA and a January $2.50 call on GM would be entered as GM=AP.
