Trying to find a website that lets you calculate the value of stock options? Not just current value but ...? Im looking for a site i found a few months back and had bookmarked but then my computer got all messed up and I lost it. It lets you enter the stock symbol and then you select what kind of option contract you have. (calls or puts and the strike price. Then you can change the current stock price to get a guesstimate of what the option would be worth based on how many days left til expiration. Ex- if I own SIRIUS Sept 08 Calls at .10 and SIRI is currently trading at $1.90 I could then change the value of SIRI to say $3 or $5 and see what the option value would be approximately based on the change in price and how much to expect it to appreciate. Thanks to anyone who can help with a site to do this. I use Scottrade and can track option prices on that or any website, but cant find that unique feature on any sites. zman!!! ivolatility is the site i was looking for! Awesome and thanks for the fast response. Best of luck in the markets!

What's CITI's current stock price, value of the stock, and the difference between the two? The current stock price of Citigroup is $3.31. However I was wondering what the true value of the stock would be, assuming its dividends remain constant at current levels. And what exactly is the difference between this value and the market price? What would the constant rate of dividend growth in perpetuity implied in the market price be? Would this be realistic? I'm trying to get this information for my son who is using it in one of his projects! Any info would help! Thanks! The best answer will receive $5 paypal! I understand you can't give a value but surely there is a difference between the actual price of the stock and the market value of the stock. Furthermore, from the market price, there must be some way to estimate the constant rate of dividend growth in perpetuity implied in the market price.

What is the estimate of the stock's current value? Agarwal Technologies was founded 10 years ago. It has been profitable for the last 5 years, but it has needed all of its earnings to support growth and thus has never paid a dividend. Management has indicated that it plans to pay a $0.25 dividend 3 years from today, then to increase it at a relatively rapid rate for 2 years, and then to increase it at a constant rate of 8.00% thereafter. Management's forecast of the future dividend stream, along with the forecasted growth rates, is shown below. Assuming a required return of 11.00%, what is your estimate of the stock's current value? Year 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 Growth rate NA NA NA NA 50.00% 25.00% 8.00% Dividends $0.000 $0.000 $0.000 $0.250 … a. $9.94 b. $10.19 c. $10.45 d. $10.72 e. $10.99 My question here is that would D1 be $0.375? or is it $0.250? I can't seem to get the right answer because here is what I got. Phat2 = D3/(K-g) Phat2 = .506/(.11-.08) = 16.86 Po = D1/(1+K) + D2/(1+k)^2 = P hat2/(1+.11)^2 Po = .375/(1+.11) + .469/(1+.11)^2 + 16.86/(1+.11)^2 and got 14.3984 If someone can tell me the right answer, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!

How to Calculate current value of a stock based on past Volume, current Volume, and change in Price? Assumption: Trends do exist, both upward and downward. And even if you trade, a day late, knowing the trend, you can profit from it. Goal#1: If a stock is over-valued, sell it, if a stock is under-valued, buy it. Goal #2: And to do better than a BUY and HOLD strategy. (Any good stock or company should have an upward long-term trend anyway) I realize that there may be some winning/losing trades...... and certain assumptions must be made, but i am looking for a good generalization. Here are some things i think i know: Assumption#1: If High Volume, the price is realized. Assumption#2: If Low Volume, the price isnt yet realized necessarily. Other Assumptions: It costs $ to trade, this must also be factored in too (a minimum profit amount?) And assuming that you are not reacting to news items because you are the last to know about them. (but are aware of price changes and trend movements)
